Access to restricted areas Access to restricted areas* shall be fitted with a self-closing door that closes automatically from any position and: - designed to be opened from the restricted area without the use of keys or tools in order to avoid the personnel to be trapped. - designed to be opened from outside only with a key or similar means. *A restricted area is an area, which is enclosed for safety reasons, where only qualified persons have access to do maintenance, trouble shooting and repairing work.
